About VIDA Rescue
Volunteers in Defense of Animals is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded in 2015 by a group of passionate volunteers who have been working for years to end the mistreatment and suffering of all animals.
They rescue hundreds of homeless animals annually and work hard to find them forever homes. They extend their services to assist other rescues and provide animal welfare services for homeless dogs and cats in Mexico. They also sponsor spay and neuter campaigns for communities in need in the US and Mexico.
Their mission is to see the end of mistreatment and exploitation of animals and to help them find their loving forever homes.
Case Study: VIDA Rescue
How We Helped VIDA Rescue
Leveraging Instagram reels and Tiktok, EVR Takes World helped VIDA Rescue enhance brand visibility and further their organization’s goals.
-
Before partnering with EVR Takes World, VIDA Rescue relied solely on word-of-mouth to spread awareness about their mission and to get adoptees. Despite working hard for the welfare of animals, their organization didn’t have the amount of reach and awareness it deserved.
-
We created a strong strategy that targeted local cities to find potential adoptees so VIDA Rescue’s animals could find loving forever homes or temporary foster homes.
We developed a strategic approach that leveraged reels and TikTok to enhance brand visibility and encourage more appointments at VIDA Rescue, furthering the organization to reach its goals.
-
In the 14 day partnership with EVR Takes World, VIDA Rescue’s engagement rate increased by 549.5%, their impressions increased by 151% and their viewership to non-followers increased by 542% reaching local untapped audiences. Coco and Armani were adopted with their new owners claiming they found them via Instagram reels and Versace is currently in foster.
The focus of this partnership was to help the long-time shelter dogs and cats find a home by showcasing their amazing personalities in hopes that someone would fall in love with them through the screen and apply to meet them.

The Impact: A Social Media Success Story
As of March 10, 2024, Coco and Armani have both been adopted. Their new owners said they said they found them via Instagram reels. Versace is also out of the shelter and currently living in foster care. Coco, Armani, and Versace were in the shelter since they were 8 weeks old. All of them are now out of the shelter and get to enjoy life as puppies in loving homes. Versace is still up for adoption. If you are interested in adopting, apply here or if you would like to browse adoptable pets, you can visit their site.
VIDA Rescue is always in search of adoptees or foster homes for their animals. They work by appointment only so you can meet in person and complete an adoption the same day. The doors at VIDA Rescue never close, meaning they are taking in new rescues every day. If you are looking for a new pet or volunteer opportunities to help these animals, visit www.vida4animals.org.
